Who is me?

My name is Ali Hasan, and I am a PGDE student in Bahrain College of Teachers batch 2011-2012. I greatly like to learn new things in computer field and also to share my thoughts with other people. I am perusing to be a well trained professional teacher for the sake of the coming generations.


I earned my BS.c in IT and Computer Science from Applied Science University at Jordan in 2007. I worked as software developer for three years and then joined the Ministry of Education in Bahrain as a teacher in computer field in September 2010.

I like reading scientific books, blogs and other mediums, as well as for art and my filed of course. I like making friends of any age, country, specialization or any religion. Happy blogging. :)

How do I use computer?

For years I was using the computer for many purposes, but now I can group them as the following roles.

Computer as Tutor

One of the examples for the computer to be as a tutor is in the electronic resources. I usually use the computer to search for the information I am looking for via internet, e-books, encyclopedias and scientific website. Recently, there have been abundant of teaching applications and games on the market; for example the physics experimental game -shown below- the child or anybody -me in this case- would learn and apply the basic physical concepts by playing this game and following its instructions plus it can give the grace of having a virtual world so the child have freedom for testing his abilities and discover his imagination. So these applications are very much useful to make the kid learn and examine what he've learnt.

Computer as Tutee

The computer is being used as a tutee when it is being mainly used in programming. I use the computer to write my programs in developing software so I can align my instructions and preferences –teaching the computer. This is very much useful when the need of making or creating new things comes, because programming always related to the person demands and what he needs, and it is always meant by two things, detailed information and instructions.

In other hand, the computer is also a good tutee when we teach it how to take some actions. For example, in voice and pattern recognition, the computer must learn how to identify the voice command or the pattern a computer is taking by a camera.

Computer as Tool

As a tool, the computer is significantly being used in designing, editing and automation. I use the computer in doing some editing and photo modification of my own as well as work related. These group of applications are very much great, you can improve your work dramatically by using them compared to when it has been made manually wich is very hard most of the times, or even impossible.

These applications are also being used by wide range of users depending on their skill levels. On the Internet there are lot of useful tutorials which meet the most needs of people.
